Crawford steps in to clear, and wins a free kick, just when it looked the ball might fall to Robinson in front of the Thistle goal. 

More Thistle pressure but nobody can get a touch to Mackay cross that is put into a good area.

Oxborough doesn't claim the Turner free kick this time. The ball falls to Fitzpatrick at the edge of the box but he can't hit target. 

Thistle free kick in from the right touchline. 

It's a great ball from Wasiri that finds Mackay. Mackay gets deep into the box but can't find away past Oxborough with his shot. 

Milne shoots from outside the box and his effort only just clears the bar. 

Robinson does well and fins Fitzpatrick to his left. Fitzpatrick has a sight at goal but his shot strikes a defender and any opportunity is lost. 

O'Donnell crosses but Wilson can't wrap his foot round the ball and his shot goes well wide of goal. 

Yellow card for the Motherwell manager who reacts angerly to Mackay for some reason. 

McBeth steps in to clear when Thistle come under a bit of pressure. 

An obvious yellow card for Blaney who pulls the jersey of Robinson as he gets clear just inside the Motherwell half. 

Oxborough takes charge and comes off his line to confidently collect the free kick.

Goalless at the break. Mason McCready makes a couple of good stops but Thistle have contributed much to this game and are close through Mackay and Graham to taking the lead.

A Miller shot is half blocked allowing McCready to make a comfortable save.

Motherwell can make nothing of the free kick and when Gordon does cross again McCready claims at his front post. 

Motherwell free kick near the edge of the box on the left in line with the 6 yard box. 

Robinson gets ahead of McBeth and when he goes down just outside the Thistle box there are howls for a free kick which would surely have meant a red card. The referee though waves play on. 

This time it is Blaney that sees a shot clear the Thistle crossbar. 

Wilson sends a shot high over McCready's crossbar. 

Thistle try and break when Halliday's corner is cleared but they are careless in possession. 

This time the corner goes out for a goal kick. 

Another good stop from McCready from a header from the corner. 

McCready does really well to get a touch to a Robinson shot, that touch is enough to to get the ball onto the crossbar with the rebound scrambled behind for a corner. 

Thistle are inches away from the lead. Robinson's shot goes across the face of goal and Graham can't quite stretch far enough to get a touch to the ball in front of an empty net. 

Motherwell want a penalty as McCready tries to get the ball away from the advancing Robinson. 

Fitzpatrick has the Motherwell defence on the back foot again but his shot is blocked by the foot of a defender. 

Great chance for Thistle as Fitzpatrick crosses from the left but Mackay can't apply  the finish inside the 6 yard box. 

It's a poor free kick from Turner and Graham's high foot gives Motherwell a free kick on the edge of their own box. 

Mackay is fouled winning Thistle a free kick and a chance to get the ball into the box. 

McCready is off his line quickly to get the ball ahead of Robinson. The home side are starting to dominate possession. 

Miller's corner is cleared. 

Graham's flick finds Fitzpatrick to his left. Fitzpatrick fizzes over a cross but Oxborough gathers. A promising first 10 minutes from Thistle. 

McCready has an easy save to make from a Stuparevic shot. 

Turner's through ball looking for Mackay has a shade too much weight on it. . 

The ball is played back into the feet of Graham after Turner's deep corner is initially cleared but the flag goes up for offside against the Thistle captain. 

Easy catch for Oxborough from Turner's corner and he sets up a quick Motherwell counter attack.
