Dowds races onto a throughball. His cut back misses Lawless but Hodson retrieves at the back post. Hodson tries to pick out Turner but the ball is cleared for a throw in.

Allan's cross is headed behind under pressure for a corner by Milne. The Jags number three feels he should have had a free kick. The corner is headed wide of target.

A cross from Oakley loops high in the air but Gold can't get a meaningful touch on the ball and it falls into the hands of Sneddon.

Crisp passing from Thistle finds Graham trying to play in Lawless but the pass is just too heavy.

Scott Tiffoney makes his return from injury 

A free kick routine is well worked around the Arbroath box but is defended well. 

Lawless with the cross finds Brian Graham but his header is off target, 

Hamilton and Brownlie collide in the box but after physio treatment both are able to continue.

Arbroath whip a cross into the box but as Brownlie clears he is fouled and Thistle have a free kick.

Arbroath get in behind the Thistle defence after slack defending but Hoti guides his effort off target much to Thistle's relief.

A Thistle break is almost perfect but Gaston slides out to claim the ball off the toes of McKinnon

Fosu is immediately involved, lunging into Thistle keeper Sneddon giving Thistle a free kick. 

Turner's corner is short to Lawless. He turns his defender and crosses but Gaston clutches it. 

Pressure from Graham forces Little into conceding the corner. 

Fitzpatrick gets behind the Arbroath defence but is blocked from the ball. Turner's run to collect the loose ball is blocked by the referee but McKinnon feeds Graham. His shot off-balance is off target and it's a goal kick.

Hoti with an effort 30 yards from goal which flies high over the bar. 

Sneddon, in full purple kit on Purple Thistle Day, claims the free kick comfortably.

A good spell of possession from Arbroath has a cross from Oakley met by Allan. Sneddon pushes the ball away from goal and it is cleared before Thistle claim for a free kick on the half way line. The referee waves away protests before Arbroath win a free kick wide of the box. 

Dylan Tait with an effort from 25 yards which is always rising and clears Sneddon's bar. 

McKenna's shot from inside the box curls wide of Sneddon's goal. 

McMillan's cross is headed behind for a Thistle corner. Muirhead meets it at the near post but glances over. 

Thistle have their tails up and after Sneddon races to the edge of the box to claim the ball, he feeds McMillan. An excellent pass into the feet of Lawless follows before Thistle's number 11 can't quite find the onrushing Turner. 

A free kick by Turner is met by Graham and he gets enough contact on it to send it in off the back post. 

The ball breaks to Scott Allan at the edge of the Thistle box but his shot is comfortably saved by Sneddon.

An Arbroath set piece is cleared by the Jags defence

McMillan fizzes a low cross right in front of goal, Graham can't untangle his feet to poke the ball home and the ball goes out of play.

McMillan's cross is sliced behind for a Jags corner. The set piece is taken short and cleared by the visitors

Graham presses the Arbroath defence and wins the ball. He tries to switch it to Fitzpatrick who has the ball stolen away from his feet by a defender.

The first cross into the Thistle box is met by Brownlie who heads clear. Arbroath maintain possession but Thistle force them back into their own half.
