It's a bitterly disappointing afternoon as Arbroath are good value for their 3-0 win.
Adeloye's shot from outside the box clears the Arbroath crossbar.
Ngwenya does well to get the ball over from the right but despite two attempts Graham can't find the net.
That sums up the afternoon for Thistle. Fitzpatrick's cross finds Robinson he knocks the ball back towards goal where Graham shoots over the bar from 6 yards out.
That will seal the win for Arbroath and for all Thistle's huffing and puffing it's been coming. It's far too easy too as Hylton shoots home from 8 yards out.
A Hylton shot is half blocked taking all the pace off it and Sneddon makes an easy save.
Graham's header from a Lawless cross is wide of target.
Bird nearly seals it for Arbroath but has to settle for a corner after a last ditch block.
Graham pokes the ball goalwards but is cleared.
Twenty minutes to go. Can Thistle find something in the last 20 minutes that they didn't remotely look like finding in the first 70?
That might be Thistle's first shot of the game. It's close to hauling Thistle back into the match as Fitzpatrick's effort fizzes just wide of Gaston's right hand post.
Crowd: 3,159
Just the one change for now.
There is some activity on the Thistle bench. Some changes incoming.
It's a decent low cross in from MacKenzie, but Gaston is there to collect ahead of Graham.
The two number 5s collide as the corner comes over and we have a break in play before the game restarts with non contested drop ball.
It takes a good stop from Sneddon to tip a Slater shot over the bar and just about keep Thistle in this game.
Lawless this time with the corner. It's cleared only as far as McInroy who scuffs his shot.
An excellent cross from Fitzpatrick is well defended.
Thistle look for a penalty as Stanway hits the ground inside the box after collecting a pass from Milne.
First chance of the half to Arbroath but Gold's effort is saved by Sneddon.
Back underway. No half-time changes from Thistle.
Fitzpatrick finds Milne inside the box but his cross is cleared.
Lawless' pass looking for Graham drifts away from Graham and goes out for a goal kick.
We've seen that goal too. A poor clearance is collected at the edge of the box and although O'Brien doesn't look to make too clean a contact his shot is enough to find the corner of the net.
It's Arbroath that look more likely to score the next goal and Neilson has to make a good block at the edge of the box after some slack Thistle defending.
An O'Brien shot from outside the Thistle box goes wide of Sneddon's right hand post.
It's a poor one from Lawless though and his free kick is headed clear. Frustration growing all the time.
Graham is fouled and Thistle will have a chance to test the Arbroath defence from the free kick.
Arbroath aren't far away from a second Hylton touches the ball to Stewart to his right and his low shot is saved by Sneddon.
Arbroath aren't creating a ton of chances but what they are doing is dictating how the game is played and maintaining possession of the ball. Thistle have offered no threat so far.
The tempo to Thistle's play at the moment is far too slow.
McInroy again with the corner. Arbroath only partially clear and the ball is worked back to McInroy. This time his cross is too deep and goes out for a goal kick.
Milne does well to clear a Dunnwald-Turan cross.
We've seen this goal before. At the last home to be exact. A cross comes over from the right and Hylton has too much space and he knocks the ball home.
Muirhead heads clear McKenna's corner.
It's McInroy with the corner. Neilson darts near post to try and get his head to it but it is cleared.
McKenna's deep corner finds O'Brien whose header drops harmlessly wide of goal. O'Brien's reaction suggests he thinks he should have done better.
Thistle have the ball in the net but Lawless is clearly offside before he cuts the ball back to McInroy to tap home.
Arbroath get us underway. Thistle shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the first 45 minutes.
It's two teams very much in form at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill as third placed Thistle face fourth placed Arbroath.
Thistle come into this game on the back of three straight league wins and changes have been kept to a minimum.
Harry Milne replaces Kieran Ngwenya who deputised for the suspended Milne at Ayr last weekend.
There is also an enforced change with injury ruling out Jack McMillan with Zander MacKenzie starting at right back.
