This time Milne clears the corner though Morton pick the ball up again. 

O'Reilly does well to put the ball behind for another corner. 

Mullen gets a strong fist to Turner's free kick and punches clear.

Chalmers gets two chances to shoot. The first is blocked, the second goes well wide.

Mullen isn't able to make a clean catch from the corner but the ball bounces safely clear. 

Graham's header is saved by Mullen but the offside flag was already raised. 

The break of the ball goes Morton's way after a Fitzpatrick corner is blocked, the ball spinning back into Mullen's arms. 

Referee Steven isn't the most popular man inside Firhill as a decision goes against Crawford winning Morton a soft free kick and halting a Thistle attack. 

There is only Graham inside the box to try and get on the end of a Milne cross and the ball goes out for a Morton throw on the far side. 

Morton for some reason get two attempts at the corner. At second time of asking, Graham heads clear at the front post. 

Roberts is off balance but recovers to tip away a deflected shot. 

Wilson drags a shot wide of goal as Morton start the second half in much the same way they did the first. 

Roberts gets a fist to the ball to clear the initial danger. Morton remain on the attack and Boyes sends a shot not too far wide of the Thistle goal. 

Milne is harshly ;penalised for a foul and Morton have a free kick in from the right touchline. 

Fitzpatrick's through ball is just inches too far in front of Robinson. 

Back underway. No changes at the break. 

It took Thistle some time to get started, Morton missing as great chance to take the lead, but the half finished with Thistle well on top and pressing hard for the opening goal. 

Mullen grabs hold of Mullen's header right on his goal line. 

Mullen saves at his front post to deny Robinson. 

Into first half added time as Chalmers appeals in vain for a corner kick. 

The referee spots a foul on Mullen and the pressure on the Morton goal eases. Especially as Mullen appears to need treatment. 

Deep once more. This time a Thistle head does get to the ball and Milne is just unable to force home near the front post. Another corner incoming. 

Deep again from Turner but O'Reilly can't get his head to the ball. Thistle finishing the half strongly. 

Chalmers looks to be fouled near the edge of the Morton box but there is no free kick. 

Boyes fouls Robinson who still manages to spin clear and clearly feels advantage should have been played. 

Deep corner from Turner that is cleared. 

Mullen pushes a Fitzpatrick effort round the post as Thistle continue to press. 

Wasiri has space in front of him and a clear look at goal. His shot isn't struck cleanly but Robinson is able to get a touch that takes the ball just wide of goal. Best spell of the match from Thistle. 

Massive appeal for handball as a Wasiri throw is flicked on and comes off a Morton defender's arm. The reaction of the players tells you have good a call that was for a penalty. 

It's a better corner this time from Turner but well defended. 

Turner lifts the corner towards the back post but Mullen claims. 

Lyall has a glimpse of the Thistle goal at the edge of the box and his effort drifts just wide. 

Turner's effort from the free kick has Mullen scrambling but the ball goes just wide of the keeper's left hand post. 

Broadfoot fouls Robinson and Thistle have a free kick outside the box about 25 yards out, perhaps a shade more. 

Turner's cross is too close to Mullen. Mullen spills the ball though but recovers before Graham can pounce. 

It's a really poor free kick though that goes out for a Thistle throw on the other side. 

Morton win a free kick near the right hand corner of the Thistle box after Thistle are again careless in possession. 

Emmanuel-Thomas is able to shift the ball away from Milne and find room for a shot but it goes high over the Thistle crossbar. 

Milne sends over a cross from the left that Graham can't get on the end of. It's been better from Thistle the last few minutes. 

Big. big chance for Morton. McBeth is short with a pass back and Emmanuel-Thomas is clear on goal. Roberts though is off his line quickly, spreads himself and makes a really good block to keep the score at 0-0. 

Fitzpatrick fizzes over a cross that is cleared in Thistle's first serious attacking thrust. 

Moffat has the game's first shot at goal but he drags is wide of Roberts' right hand post. 

It's been an uncomfortable first few minutes for Thistle but there is an early touch for Roberts as he collects a cross at his front post.
