Matchday in the Aitken Suite
The Aitken Suite, located within the Colin Weir Stand, will be open as a supporters’ bar for Saturday’s game against Hamilton Accies at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Open to home and away supporters, the family-friendly supporters’ bar will have food on offer with Boss Catering providing the pre-match grub from opening at 12pm until 2pm.
The Aitken Suite is a family-friendly supporters’ bar so children and family groups are very welcome.
Entry to the Aitken Suite is accessed through the door a few yards further up Firhill Road from the main entrance of the Colin Weir Stand.
What’s on in the Aitken Suite:
12:00 – The Aitken Suite opens for supporters.
12:30 – Celtic v Kilmarnock, live on Sky Sports, will be shown.
14:00 – Food service ends in the suite.
14:45 – Last orders. It’s almost time to take your seats for the big match.
The Aitken Suite will re-open after the full-time whistle.
18:00 – The Aitken Suite closes ahead of the club’s End-of-Season Awards Dinner
Thistle Taxi
The Thistle Taxi will be at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill in the build-up to Saturday’s game against Hamilton Accies for use by any older or less able supporters, free of charge.
The distinctive red and yellow taxi will be taking supporters from the bottom of McParland Way to the Jackie Husband Stand Reception, starting at 1:30pm.
The Thistle Taxi, kindly provided by club sponsor Glasgow Taxis, can seat up to six people and will be making multiple trips ahead of kick off.
PlayerZone
Due to the Partick Thistle End-of-Season Awards Dinner taking place on Saturday evening, there will be no PlayerZone for this fixture.
Partick Thistle’s race to secure a promotion play-off spot stalled on Saturday, with a 2-1 loss to Hamilton Academical at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
The Jags came into the fixture three points clear of play-off rivals Raith Rovers, while Hamilton started the day in eighth place, two points clear of Dunfermline in the relegation play-off spot.
There were two changes from the team that started last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat away to Airdrieonians with Ben Stanway deputising for the suspended Stuart Bannigan. Josh Reid was absent from the matchday squad as Thistle reverted to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Dan O’Reilly moving to left back as Aidan Fitzpatrick came in for Reid.
It was Thistle who started the brighter of the two in the opening minutes with some encouraging play down the wings, playing balls into the box, just lacking an end product.
Hamilton would have the first meaningful chance of the game, after an error from Robbie Crawford saw Thistle lose possession in their own half. Oli Shaw raced through, but his low shot from outside the box went wide as it remained goalless.
Logan Chalmers had a couple of half-chances as Thistle continued to look the more lively going forward, before Accies pounced against the run of play to open the scoring.
Lee Ashcroft looked to get himself to a dangerous ball in the Thistle box, but as he did, Luke McBeth also tried to clear it away. McBeth proceeded to flick his ball over Ashcroft, straight into the path of Nikolay Todorov. Todorov promptly volleyed the ball home from eight yards out to give Accies the lead.
Two minutes later, Accies had doubled their lead. A misplaced delivery from a set-piece by Kyle Turner allowed Robinson to catch our defence napping and break through on goal. The former Jag was then able to dispatch his shot past Lewis Budinauckas with ease for 2-0.
The Jags tried to respond, coming close on twenty-two minutes when Brian Graham got his head to a lovely Kanayo Megwa cross, but his effort went wide.
The game then descended into a slog as Thistle looked to have stuffing knocked out of them by the quick-fire Accies double.
Thistle’s brightest forward move occurred just moments before half time. Chalmers pressed through on the right-hand side, but before he could launch the ball into the box, the referee spotted a Hamilton player down in the middle of the pitch and blows for an Accies free kick.
Stanway tried to liven up play with a few crosses into the box in stoppage time, but Accies keeper Dean Lyness dealt with them easily as Thistle went into the break two goals down.

The opening moments of the second half saw Thistle cause Hamilton’s defence more issues, but Accies keeper Lyness was able to deal with efforts from Dan O’Reilly and Graham with ease.
The game once again ground to a halt as Accies sat in and dictated the pace, dealing with The Jags’ forays forward easily.
The seventy minute mark saw a bit of good news as academy graduate Liam Rooney came on for his debut appearance in Thistle colours, replacing Megwa.
Rooney looked lively when he came on, with Thistle getting more into the game after he came on.
The youngster came close to a dream start, firing in a wonderful cross for Graham to hit home what would surely be Thistle’s first goal of the game, but Graham was unable to make contact at the back post with the high ball.
The clock ticked down as Thistle looked set to end the game goalless before Graham halved the deficit in stoppage time.
Graham managed to get his head onto Stevie Lawless’ cross, dinking over Lyness for his 96th competitive goal in red and yellow.
It wasn’t enough to rescue a point though, as Accies held on for a vital win in their bid to escape relegation.

The result sees The Jags remain in fourth place, but with their lead now cut to two points after Raith Rovers’ 1-1 draw against Airdrieonians today. Partick Thistle return to action next Saturday, with a trip to Fife to face Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.

Into added time. This might be quite lengthy but Thistle don't look like finding one goal never mind two.

Graham fails to make contact at the back post to a fantastic cross from Rooney.
Break in play for a Hamilton plater to receive some treatment.
Turner's corner is cleared but Thistle are able to get the ball back into the box where Lyness smothers a shot.
A Shaw header from a Telfer free kick goes over the bar.

Chalmers cross after working a short corner with Fitzpatrick is poor.

It's a lovely pass from Fitzpatrick that finds O'Reilly to his left. O'Reilly's cross hits Graham rather than Graham getting a touch to it and the ball goes behind for a goal kick.
Bradley's free kick goes all the way through without a touch and out for a goal kick.
Hamilton have a free kick midway inside the Thistle half and chance to get players into the box.
It's an easy save for Lyness to make from Graham's downward header.
Chalmers touches the ball back to O'Reilly who fires in a low drive that Lyness is able to save.
No changes from Thistle at the break.
It's a really poor first 45 minutes from Thistle who find themselves trailing 2-0 at the break.
Lyness intercepts a low cross from Stanway.
Stanway drills in a cross that Crawford can't direct on target.
Into additional time at the end of the first half.
Thistle are on the attack through Chalmers on the right when the referee spots a Hamilton player down in the middle of the pitch and gives Hamilton a free kick.
Megwa has a shot from outside the box that clears the Hamilton crossbar.
Chalmers gets round the side of MacDonald but wastes his cross. Nothing is happening for Thistle at the moment.
This is not a good watch at the moment.
Megwa's cross is just a shade too high and although Graham reaches it he can't direct his header on target.
Thistle are caught completely exposed through the middle. Robinson races clear and fires home.
Hamilton take the lead as Todorov hooks the ball into the net.
Megwa sends over a great cross from the right that Hamilton do well to defend.
Graham's clever pass finds Chalmers to his right. Chalmers brings the ball onto his left foot before dragging a shot wide.
Megwa takes a tumble inside the box after getting past Bradley and there are some, optimistic, shouts for a Thistle penalty mainly from the fans in the John Lambie Stand.
The short corner routine between Fitzpatrick and Chalmers doesn't really work but Thistle pick the ball up wide on the left with McBeth. His cross looking for Graham is cleared as far as Chalmers who slices a shot wide of goal.
Fitzpatrick's low cross is turned behind for a corner.
Crawford gives the ball away inside his own half and Shaw is only just off target with a low shot from outside the box.
MacDonald fires in a low shot that Budinauckas needs to save at his left hand post.
A Todorov header from the Bradley corner drops well wide of the Thistle goal.
The final home Saturday fixture of the season sees the visit of Hamilton Academical to the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Injury prevents the inclusion of Josh Reid, Alex Jakubiak and Zander MacKenzie while Stuart Bannigan serves the first of a two game suspension.
