Thistle will be the overnight league headers after a hugely impressive display and a thumping 4-1 win over Inverness.
Two first half Brian Graham goals had Thistle in control at the break with second half strikes from Kevin Holt, via the penalty spot, and Anton Dowds completed the Thistle scoring.
An injury time strike from Inverness didn't take the shine off an excellent night's work for The Jags.
No clean sheet for Thistle as Oakley escapes attention to hammer home a header.
There will be a minimum of 2 minutes additional time played.
Boyd sends a shot over Mitchell's crossbar as Inverness try and find a consolation goal.
It's a fourth for Thistle and a first Firhill goal as a Jag for Anton Dowds as he bullets home a header from a fantastic Milne cross from the left.
Thistle again do an effective job of dealing with the Inverness corner.
The excellent Lawless plays the ball up to the feet of Fitzpatrick but the Jags sub drags his shot wide.
Thistle are holding firm as they come under some late Inverness pressure.
It's a decent enough corner from Inverness but well defended.
At a stretch Milne is able to get his head to Turner's corner but can't get over the ball and his header goes over the bar.
It's a standing ovation for Tiff as he goes off.
Inverness aren't giving up and Shaw has a shot from outside the box but it's an easy save for Mitchell.
It's a great challenge from Milne inside his own box to deny Inverness a glimpse of goal. He gets the break of the ball as well and play will restart with a Thistle goal kick.
Dowds has a chance soon after coming on but from the right hand corner of the box he lashes a shot well wide of goal.
No hat-trick for Brian Graham but what a part he's played in the Thistle three goal advantage they currently hold.
There is no doubt that Brian Graham wanted that penalty and the chance to complete a hat-trick but it is Kevin Holt that is entrusted with the kick and he slams low and hard into the corner of the net.
Graham has his legs pulled from under him and Thistle have a penalty.
Graham nearly gets his head to a long Milne ball deep into the box.
Crowd: 2,632
Nearly another gift for Thistle and Graham. This time Graham tries to lift the ball over Ridgers and complete a hat-trick but he doesn't get enough elevation on the ball and Inverness escape.
McMillan has moved across to his more favoured right back following Thistle's half-time changes.
Daniel Mackay lifts a shot high over the Thistle crossbar.
A very positive first half performance sees Thistle lead by two Brian Graham goals to nil at the break.
Hodson gets caught in possession but Milne is on hand to head clear a cross from the Thistle right.
More good play from Thistle with Lawless find McKinnon. McKinnon is a little unlucky not to win Thistle a corner with his cross coming off a defender and rebounding back off him.
The second goal comes out of nothing and as a result of a mix up in the Inverness box. Tiffoney collects a short back pass, he side steps Ridgers before leaving the ball to Graham who thumps it into an empty net.
The free kick is knocked in low into the Inverness box where Docherty tries to flick the ball towards goal but the ball goes out for a goal kick.
Harper flights the corner into a packed Thistle 6 yard box but McKinnon takes charge and Thistle break with Lawless fouled near the right hand corner of the Inverness box.
That was nearly tempting fate with Mitchell making a smart save near his left hand post to deny Billy Mckay.
The game has fallen into a bit of a lull at the moment.
Milne is a shade too firm with a header back to Mitchell and hearts are in Thistle mouths for a second before Mitchell grabs the ball.
McKinnon and Bannigan exchange passes as they work a short corner. Lawless gets involved in the act too and lays the ball back to McKinnon who tries to curl a shot beyond Ridgers but doesn't get enough bend on his shot to really threaten a goal.
It's a simple finish for Graham from just a few yards out but it is a beautifully crafted goal from Thistle who open up the Inverness defence down the right hand side with Graham tucking home McKinnon's assist.
With Docherty waiting to get back on, Thistle have to defend the corner a man short but they easily clear Doran's corner.
Before the corner can be taken we will have a break in play for Docherty to receive a spot of treatment.
It's some enterprising play from Thistle that works the ball wide to Lawless on the right but Ridgers is able to gather his chipped cross.
Deas pushes Lawless and Thistle win another free kick deep in the Inverness half. It's quickly played to the feet of Graham but then goes out for a goal kick.
McKinnon's free kick is far too close to Ridgers though and he makes an easy catch.
Samuels nudges Tiffoney and Thistle have a free kick wide on the left in from the touchline.
The ball is swept out wide to Milne on the left and he crosses but Graham can't get his effort on target and the ball goes wide of Ridgers' right hand post. It's a very open game at the moment.
Inverness try and break after the second of McKinnon's two corners is cleared but Hodson is quick in tracking back and snuffs out any danger.
It's been a bright opening from both teams and Daniel Mackay sends a shot just over Mitchell's crossbar from just outside the Thistle box.
Nearly a dream start for Thistle as Tiffoney bursts into the box but McKinnon can't convert his cut back at the back post.
The BBC Scotland cameras are inside Fihill for tonight's clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle with both sides knowing that victory would take them to the top of the league until 4.45pm tomorrow at least.
The starting eleven selected by Ian McCall shows three changes from the side that went down to defeat against Queen's Park last weekend.
In com Scott Tiffoney, starting for the first time this season, Stuart Bannigan and Lee Hodson, a late substitute against Queen's.
Kyle Turner, Tunji Akinola and Aidan Fitzpatrick are the three that make way for them.
