There is no Christmas cheer for Thistle as they go down to a 1-0 defeat to Peterhead following an insipid display.
Thistle had been the better side in the first half but found themselves trailing to Scott Brown's goal just before the half hour mark.
Ryan Williamson and James Penrice, within seconds of each other, had efforts saved by Rae but these were the only shots on target managed during the entire 90 minutes. Thistle failing to muster a single effort worthy of note in the second half.
Graham thankfully doesn't need the stretcher but his afternoon is over.
A bad day gets worse as Brian Graham looks set to leave the field on a stretcher.
Play is stopped for Brian Graham to receive some attention.
Thistle appeal for a penalty but the referee isn't interested.
The 90 minutes have come and gone and we are into injury time. There should be a good few minutes of that but frankly Thistle don't look like scoring.
Thistle Man of the Match: Ross Docherty
Thistle are close to a goal this time but Graham's header drops just inches wide of post.
Gordon's header is touched behind for another corner.
There is the merest hint of a Thistle chance as Rudden collects the ball but the ball goes out for a goal kick with Thistle again failing to fashion an effort on goal.
Graham stretches but can't connect with a cross from the Thistle right. Thistle still haven't had a shot on goal in the second half.
There is space for Peterhead when they come forward and Cook gets the ball to Boyd but his effort is straight at Wright.
Rudden tries to force a Gordon flick towards the Peterhead goal. Rae though collects the ball near his goal line with the flag going up for offside in any case.
Niang makes a good block to deny Cook after a run down the right from Cameron.
Cardle's free kick sums up the afternoon. It drifts behind Brownlie and out for a goal kick.
Thistle will have a free kick about 35 yards from goal.
Thistle look in vain for a penalty as Graham hits the deck inside the Peterhead box.
Thistle aren't able to threaten the Peterhead goal with another poor corner kick.
Lyons is quickly involved in the action and he gets the ball to Foster but his cross to the back post finds nobody.
The referee spots a foul as Graham back defending heads the corner clear.
Boyd does well to hold the ball up before laying a pass back to Bailey who sees his shot spin off Foster and out for a corner.
Cardle's corner is far too deep. It's all far too easy for Peterhead at the moment.
Cook gets the ball at the edge of the Thistle box but his shot lacks direction and power and Wright makes an easy save.
Thistle are making next to no impression on the Peterhead defence.
Rae can't claim Cardle's corner but he gets a strong enough fist to the ball to get it clear.
Thistle have their first corner of the afternoon.
Bannigan's pass for Gordon catches him in an offside position.
Thistle make a change at the break.
It's more Firhill frustration for Thistle as they find themselves trailing at the break.
Thistle have had the bulk of the pressure but have been consistently wasteful when they have found themselves in promising positions.
Ryan Williamson and Joe Cardle both forced the visiting keeper into saves within seconds of each other but those efforts aside Rae in the Peterhead goal simply hasn't been troubled anywhere enough by Thistle.
A free kick from Fraser very nearly catches out Wright but Thistle escape the loss of what would be a hugely damaging second goal.
Docherty is able to knock a ball towards the back post where Graham is able to get his head to the ball but Rae is able to collect without any difficulty.
Bannigan picks up the ball in midfield. He finds Penrice to his left. Penrice plays the ball across the face of the Peterhead goal but Murray is unable to get to it in time to force the ball home.
Williamson is again able to get himself into a good position on the right but again can't find the telling cross to create an opening.
Williamson's cross, with Graham waiting to apply the finish, is cleared,
Thistle are unable to get the ball clear as Peterhead put the Thistle goal under some rare pressure. The ball is worked into the path of Brown and he confidently puts his side ahead.
Cardle's cross after he collects a pass from Williamson is claimed by Rae in the Peterhead goal.
Thistle are close to opening the scoring. Rae saves but can't hold Williamson's shot. Cardle picks up the loose ball and he too is denied by the Peterhead keeper.
Some excellent play from Cardle allows him to find him some space but there is no team mate in place to receive his cross much to Cardle's obvious frustration.
Cardle takes the free kick but it is a poor one and Peterhead easily clear.
Williamson is caught late and Thistle have a free kick in from the right touchline.
Murray is back on for Thistle.
We're going to have a break in play for Murray to receive a spot of treatment following a challenge near the halfway line.
Cardle plays a cross into the Peterhead box that no Thistle player anticipates and the ball goes out for a goal kick.
Thistle have their first shot at goal but Cardle's effort from outside the box always looks too high and it clears Rae's crossbar with a bit to spare.
Murray and Penrice link up well but Penrice's cross is cleared by Brown.
Conroy swings the corner into the Thistle six yard box but Wright takes charge and confidently claims the ball.
Thistle have seen the bulk of the ball in the opening minutes but its all been a bit frantic with Cardle's overhit pass for Williamson evidence of that.
We're underway and Thistle will be shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the first half.
Firhill hosts its final game before Christmas with the visit of Peterhead with Thistle looking for an early Christmas present of three points.
Ian McCall has selected the same starting eleven that started 7 days ago against Forfar although this week he does have the luxury of a full substitute bench to utilise should he feel the need to.
That bench sees the welcome returns of Zac Rudden, Rhys Breen and Ciaran McKenna.
Peterhead meantime include ex Jags Ryan Conroy and Gary Fraser in their starting eleven with two other ex Jags, Andy McCarthy and Derek Lyle occupying slots on the bench.
