Thistle's interest in the SPFL Trust Trophy ends at the very first hurdle.
Diack knocks a Fitzpatrick cross wide of goal.
Diack leaves Houston on the ground but Stone collects his cross.
Milne's cross is cleared.
Stanway tries to run at the Queens defence but runs out of space and it is a goal kick.
Sneddon saves from McKechnie to keep this in this. For now.
Last throw of the dice for Thistle.
Stone plucks a Milne cross out the sky. No hint of a third Thistle equaliser.
The 90 minutes have come and gone. Into additional time. You would imagine that that should be fairly lengthy.
A Fitzpatrick cross is far too close to Stone.
Before the corner can be taken Queens make a change and it is the sub, Todd, that plays a big part in the goal that is forced home from a tight angle by Ambrose.
Maybe not as they force a corner.
Queens have the look of a side quite happy to take this game to penalties.
Lawless shoots wide after cutting inside from the right hand side.
We're into the final 10 minutes of the 90. Remember this would go straight to penalties if level at 90 minutes.
Stone spills Fitzpatrick's corner but Williams can't force the ball home.
Thistle break quickly from the corner. Fitzpatrick finds McInroy to his left. McInroy elects to go for goal and his shot is saved by Stone.
Crowd: 2,307.
Break in play for a Queens player to receive treatment.
Adeloye is just inches away from connecting with a Lawless cross.
Adeloye knocks the ball towards goal after a short corner but nobody is able to get a touch to it and it goes out for a goal kick.
Robinson has the ball in the net for Thistle but play is stopped for an earlier infringement.
Again Thistle are agonisingly away from scoring as McDonald's effort is cleared off the line.
How Thistle don't score I don't know. Adeloye's header from the Lawless corner thumps off the post with Robinson's effort from the rebound scrambled clear.
Williams' clearance stays in and McDonald looks to be getting cleared until he is fouled by Cochrane.
Sneddon does well to tip a Gibson shot over the bar.
Stanway is clearly in the mood for more goals and his first time shot from the edge of the box goes just wide of target.
Stanway has been impressive again today and it is Stanway that once again ties the scores with his first ever Partick Thistle goal.
Stanway does well to find McMillan who in turn tries to set up Milne but the ball is cleared.
No changes at the break.
It's been a strange first 45 minutes. Thistle have played some good football coming forward particularly trough Lawless but only have a Lawless penalty to show for that.
At the other end they have been far too open and Queens have scored twice, the first an absolute thunderbolt, to lead at the break.
The ball bounces around the Queens box but Thistle can't force it home.
Stanway steps away from Ambrose after collecting a Williams pass and sees his shot smack off the post. Thistle remain on the attack and Stone saves from McDonald.
Thistle fail to make anything of the free kick as frustration mounts as half-time nears.
Ambrose's high challenge on McMillan earns him a booking and wins Thistle a free kick in a threatening position.
Milne fizzes in a cross that has a bit too much height and pace on it.
Chance for a third for Queens. Gibson finds Connelly inside the box but his shot lacks power and Sneddon saves.
Lawless has been central to most of Thistle's attacks and his corner nearly produces a second equaliser only for Robinson's header to go narrowly wide.
Lawless' free kick is too high for the head of Milne at the back post.
Stanway is nudged off the ball and Thistle have a free kick just outside the box in line with the 6 yard box.
Ambrose has a free header inside the Thistle box. He's stretching to reach the ball though with the result that his header goes over the bar.
Lawless and Robinson combine to nearly open up the Queen's defence but on this occasion Lawless can't get clear from the defender.
Thistle are behind again as Reilly is able to apply a finish.
Robinson is able to head Connelly's corner clear at the front post.
Sneddon gets a hand to a shot from Connelly. Not the most convincing of saves.
More magic from Lawless nearly creates an opening for Thistle.
Queens can't handle Lawless and Gibson is a shade fortunate to escape a booking for a foul on the Thistle number eleven.
Williams is able to get his head to Lawless' corner but it is an easy take for Stone.
Lawless and McDonald exchange passes at a short corner. McDonald's cross finds Adeloye who can't quite manage to get a shot at goal.
Lawless' cross is whipped away from the head of Adeloye.
Thistle aren't behind for long as Lawless tucks home the resultant penalty despite Stone going the right way.
Stanway turns sharply inside the box and has his legs taken from under him.
Williams gets his head to the corner but the ball drops to McGuffie and his absolute thunderbolt leaves Sneddon with no chance. An exceptional finish from the Queens player.
First Thistle chance. Adeloye finds Lawless to his right but Stone is able to save.
Bright start from the League One side and Sneddon has to cut out a low Connelly cross from the right.
Queen of the South kick-off. Thistle, in the white third choice kit, are shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the first half.
It's SPFL Trust Trophy action this afternoon with Thistle looking to build on the momentum provided by wins in each of the last two games.
As there invariably is when it comes to this tournament there are a number of changes to the starting eleven.
There are first Thistle starts for Scott Robinson and Tomi Adeloye, both of whom made big impacts coming off the bench at Morton last Saturday, as well as Ees McDonald.
There is also a return to the starting eleven for Wasiri Williams.
