It's a first league win of the season. An impressive second half display sees Thistle run out 3-0 winners.
A Harry Milne header had given Thistle a lead at the break with the win secured by two second half goals. The first a deflected effort from Aidan Fitzpatrick, the second a magnificent effort from Zander MacKenzie.
Ablade heads home but the flag goes up for offside.
Thistle free kick wide on the right.
Man of the Match: Harry Milne
The icing on the cake. Turner's corner is cleared only as far as MacKenzie and he volleys a magnificent effort into the back of the net for his first Partick Thistle goal. And how he enjoyed it.
Roberts comes off his line to make a confident catch.
Queen's have a free kick on the right and a chance to load the Thistle box.
It's a short corner. Nilsson clears and Fitzpatrick tries to break but his progress is halted.
The corner is flicked away from goal and out for a Queen's throw on the left.
A vital second for Thistle. Chalmers and Turner work a short corner. The ball comes to Fitzpatrick at the edge of the box. His shot takes a deflection that leaves Wills with little chance.
Before the corner can be taken a Thistle sub.
Milne can't squeeze the ball home after collecting a Graham pass and has to settle for a corner
A clever pass from Chalmers finds Lyon whose cut back is just behind Graham.
Graham is back on and in the thick of the action as he finds Turner whose run into the box is halted by a well judged tackle.
Graham is down injured and looks to be in a bit of pain. He's sitting up but still being treated.
Milne stands his ground as the free kick goes to the back post and that strong defending means a goal kick and danger averted again.
Another free kick to defend. This time wide on the left.
When the free kick is touched to the side, O'Reilly is quickly out the wall and makes a block when a shot does come in.
It's a Queen's Park free kick on the very, very edge of the Thistle box. They want a penalty, Thistle claim a dive.
Crowd: 4,034
Thomas has a shot from the edge of the Thistle box. It's straight at Roberts which is just as well as he needs tow attempts to save the powerful effort from the Queen's number 11.
Chalmers with the corner on this occasion. It's headed clear to Turner who sees his shot smack off a defender.
Duncan's corner towards the back post drifts out of play for a Thistle goal kick.
Lyon picks up the ball and from outside the box sends a shot that is narrowly wide of Wills' right hand post.
It's a great ball from Lyon that finds Nilsson. He sends over an inviting cross that Graham can't get on the end of.
Turner slips a pass through to Graham inside the box but the Thistle captain can't find the room for a shot at goal.
Nilsson finds Chalmers who fizzes over a cross that is just begging for a Thistle touch.
Duncan touches the free kick to Thomas to his left. Thomas' effort is that wild it goes out for a throw on the opposite side of the pitch.
Misjudgement from Roberts who handles outside his box. An anxious moment as Queen's have a free kick in line with the 6 yard box on the right.
Back underway. No changes from either team.
Harry Milne's header from a Kyle Turner corner has given Thistle a half-time lead.
It's not been comfortable though. Thistle's use of the ball has been poor and that has invited pressure. Queen's haven't created a chance of note, but Thistle will need to pass the ball better in the second half if they hope to turn a half-time lead into three points.
Turner makes a mess of the free kick.
Lyon is fouled near the corner of the Queen's box. A chance for a second before the break?
Into first half added time.
The free kick is flicked on and the flag goes up for offside.
A Chalmers foul gives Queen's a free kick midway inside the Thistle half. Thomas over the ball as Queen's send men forward.
Turner's corner goes deep. O'Reilly peels away to meet it but his header lacks power and Wills saves.
Roberts collects Duncan's free kick at the second time of asking.
Queen's win a free kick down near the corner flag after a Bannigan foul on Turner.
Queen's are forced to go backwards as Thistle deal with the initial free kick.
This time it is Fitzpatrick that is penalised for a foul and Queen's have a free kick wide on the right.
It's a decent delivery from Turner from the free kick but Wills makes a confident catch.
Fitzpatrick is bundled over by Murray and Thistle have a free kick at the left hand touchline.
Milne shoots from outside the box. His shot isn't threatening to the Queen's goal but Graham stretches out a foot and he isn't far away from making contact.
Queen's haven't created a chance of any note so far, but they are posing Thistle problems with good spells of possession inside the Thistle half.
Thistle try and catch Queen's on a quick break. Fitzpatrick picks the ball up on the left and has space in front of him. He can't find Graham, who has burst into the box, and instead shifts the ball to Lyon whose shot is blocked.
It's an easy take for Roberts as Queen's fail to make anything from a promising looking set piece situation.
Queen's have a free kick wide on the right and they have a chance to pack the Thistle box.
A Chalmers cross is just behind Graham. The ball is cleared but only as far as Lyon who fizzes a drive just over the bar.
Thistle are in front. It's a fantastic corner from Turner, swung into the six yard box and it's Milne that meets it to head home.
After a long delay, the referee signals for a foul on Thomas and a free kick deep inside the Thistle half. There is a lecture for Bannigan but no card.
The corner goes low to the front post which catches Thistle out a little and although the ball is cleared it's not too convincing.
Milne nearly creates van opening for himself inside the Queen's box but is crowded out.
Promising start from Thistle but Chalmers ball into three box catches Graham in an offside position.
Queen's Park get us underway. Thistle, as tradition dictates, shooting towards the John Lambie Stand in the first half.
The sun is shining, the pitch looks in magnificent condition and all is set for the most important Glasgow derby of the weekend.
Kris Doolan has made three changes for today's game as Thistle search for their first league win of the campaign.
Suspension denies him the services of Scott Robinson and Ben Stanway but there is good news with the return from in jury for striker, and captain, Brian Graham.
Logan Chalmers also returns to the side with James Lyon coming in for his first appearance of the season.
