Just two days after taking on East Kilbride at K-Park, Partick Thistle are back in action this evening as we take on Rangers at Firhill in friendly action.
The red and yellow army will be back inside Firhill for the first time in over 15 months as the team contest their final pre-season game ahead of the Premier Sports Cup group stage opener against Dunfermline Athletic this Saturday.
A limited number of season ticket holders will be in attendance but we’ll still be comprehensively covering the game for supporters who aren’t coming to the match.

It's a good showing from Thistle in a tough test against Premiership opposition and it takes a late goal, shortly after Sneddon had saved a controversial penalty, to earn Rangers the win.
Despite defeat there was much to be encouraged about with this performance. Thistle had the better of the chances in the opening 45 minutes and an increasingly youthful looking Thistle side coped well against more experience opponents in the second.
We move onto the competitive stuff now with the visit of Dunfermline to Firhill on Saturday.
The ball is thumped deep into the box and although Rangers struggle to clear the ball won't drop to a Thistle foot.
MacIver is fouled and Thistle might have one last chance to get the ball into the Rangers box.
Thistle win a throw down near the Rangers corner flag only for the referee to overrule his assistant and give the throw to Rangers.
Itten gets his head to the corner but can't get over the ball and his header clears the bar.
No reprieve for Thistle this time as the ball falls to Itten 6 yards out and he thumps the ball home.
Docherty hacks the corner clear before it goes out for a Thistle throw on the far side.
Sneddon dives to right and saves Tavernier's penalty.
The free kick strikes the wall but referee Aitken clearly thinks he's seen a hand used and points to the spot.
Rangers win a free kick about 5 yards outside the Thistle box, just left of centre. Anxious moment coming up.
Roofe's shot rolls up against Sneddon's let hand post before Thistle clear.
Bell sticks out a foot to block an Aribo cross.
Holt heads clear a Hagi cross as Thistle come under some sustained pressure for just about the first time in the game.
Sneddon is able to claim a inswinging corner but the ball clears the Thistle crossbar when a header comes in.
The pressure is mounting on a Thistle side that has a youthful feel to it.
Roofe turns at the edge of the box but his shot though well enough struck s straight at Sneddon.
After a great cross field pass from Graham, Ocholi's cross for MacIver goes just behind the Thistle striker.
Thistle defend Hagi's corner well and when Hagi is able to return the ball into the Thistle box, Sneddon is there to claim it.
Rangers win their first corner of the night as Tavernier's shot is deflected away from goal.
O'Ware tries to create an opening after Bannigan's corner is only partially cleared.
Sneddon does well to get down to his left and a strong hand prevents a shot from finding the back of the net.
No Thistle changes at the break.
Rangers have made 10 changes at the break. Only the keeper returns for the second half.
No goals in the opening 45 minutes but much to be encouraged about from a Thistle perspective with The Jags having the better of the chances.
Bannigan does well to get the ball away from the feet of Williamson inside the box before he is fouled by the Rangers player.
Murray and Foster combine well down the right but Foster can't find a team matre with his cross much to his obvious frustration.
Tiffoney twists his body to get over a cross from the left that McCrorie gets to just ahead of Docherty.
Bannigan threads a pass out to Foster to his right. Foster sends over another good cross that Graham is on the end of with this time his header dropping wide of the keeper's left hand post.
O'Ware is on hand to clear a clever Wright ball into the Thistle box.
Murray tries to find the top right hand corner with the free kick. It's an ambitious effort from a wide position and it doesn't threaten the Rangers goal.
Tiffoney is fouled as he tries to cut inside into the Rangers box and Thistle have a free kick.
It's Murray with the corner from the right . It's aimed deep for O'Ware but is a little too high.
Rangers miss a great chance to take the lead after a bit of slack Thistle play. Jones has the ball on the left side of the Thistle box and he finds Middleton who slices his shot horribly wide of goal.
Graham has the ball in the net after collecting a pass from Docherty. It's a clever finish over the head of McCrorie but the flag was up for a clear offside.
McKenna this time with the cross from the right which is cleared at the expense of a Thistle throw.
Tiffoney's corner is cleared at the front post.
Thistle are a whisker away from the game's opening goal. Foster's cross from the right finds the head of Graham and it takes a finger tip save from McCrorie to keep the ball out.
Defoe is clean through on goal after a slip from Docherty, albeit a slight angle. Sneddon makes himself as large a target to beat as possible and makes a good stop to keep the score at 0-0.
Tiffoney's corner is far too deep and goes out for a throw on the far side.
Holt wins Thistle the game's first corner.
First real thrust towards the Thistle goal but Sneddon is able to collect King's low cross at the edge of his six yard box.
O'Ware makes a good interception to prevent a through ball reaching its intended target.
Tiffoney tries a shot from the left hand corner of the Rangers box and his effort clears the bar but no more than a foot. Thistle the better side at the moment.
A Foster ball into the box is cleared after good build up play involving Tiffoney and Bannigan.
Thistle have made a positive start to the game and have tried to take the game to Rangers.
Thistle win a free kick about 35 yards from the Rangers goal. They go wide with and find Tiffoney who dips his shoulder and bursts into the Rangers box but can't find a Jag with his cross.
After the two teams take the knee, Rangers kick the game off.
Thistle round off their pre-season build up this evening with a visit of Glasgow rivals Rangers.
For the first time since March 2020 we have Thistle fans inside Firhill and while we may not have the full numbers back yet the sight of fans in red and yellow sitting inside our home ground is a wonderful one all the same.
