This Sunday 29th January, PTWFC take on Hibernian at Petershill Stadium for a 13:00 kick off.
Thistle come off the back of a defeat against Celtic in the SWPL1 in our last league match last weekend. Brian Graham’s women took this tough defeat on the chin as they look to move on and focus on the next match against Hibs. Heading back home to Petershill can provide a boost for our girls playing in front of the home support and putting last Sunday behind us.
A win here for Brian Graham’s side would be a huge statement and confidence boost for the girls as we look to get back to winning ways, take all 3 points and leapfrog Hibs in the league table.

🗣️Highlights and reaction post match
Hibs have had a decent season thus far, picking up 21 points from a possible 45 in SWPL1.
Sitting in 5th place, they’re currently 1 place and 2 points ahead of the jags therefore it’s a huge win for either side heading into this match.
Earlier in the season, the two sides met in Edinburgh in a fiesty affair that ended 0-0, even with some late penalty drama. Our girls showed great spirit to take something away from that game and will be hoping to capture our home form against Hibs having beat them twice at Petershill Park last season
Despite a tough showing against Celtic, it hasn’t dampened the mood within the camp, with the girls putting in a good week of training.
Having picked up some form before last week, everyone’s raring to go and put the game behind us, lace their shooting boots up and take the fight in will no doubt be a tough contest.
Strong followings from the Red and Yellow Army so far this season have really helped our girls, with manager Brian Graham again commenting on how much a big support would help the team. Hopefully more of the Thistle faithful come along to support their Jags as the league campaign continues at Petershill Park on Sunday.
Brian Graham is given a big task to put out a team that will bounce back. Abbie Ferguson returns following her ineligibility against Celtic, which can only provide a huge boost to the squad as she’s been in fantastic goalscoring form as of late. Kim Murphy looks to be set to be available having came off against Celtic with illness while Clare Docherty, who was a massive miss against Celtic, should also be good to go against Hibs. The manager will have to make late decisions on some others before the match. The gaffer will look to use every tool in his arsenal heading into this match in what will hopefully result in 3 points for the Jags.
