Known affectionately round Firhill simply as ‘The Doc’, Alan has been attending to the medical needs of the Firhill staff for an incredible 40 years, working under no fewer than 16 different managers and with an almost incalculable number of players.
His contribution to Partick Thistle Football Club, through good times and bad, has been huge. Working with the club physio, he oversees the medical welfare of the side and ensures that players are provided with the best possible medical care.
