This Sunday 27th November, PTWFC take on Glasgow City at Petershill for a 13:00 kick off with our family fun day starting at noon.
Thistle come off the back of a 5-1 victory against Hamilton Accies in the SWPL1 last weekend at New Douglas Park in a convincing and dominating game. Brian Graham’s women deservedly took all 3 points away from Lanarkshire as we look to take the challenge against high flying Glasgow City in a Glasgow derby for our next league fixture.
The victory over Hamilton meant that our Jags are top of the table in the SWFL1 in terms of form, picking up a possible 13 from 15 in our last 5.
A win for Brian Graham’s side would be a statement and provide a huge boost as we look to tighten the gap within the SWPL1 table.
Alongside our fixture against Glasgow City is our PTWFC Family Fun Day! Doors open at 12pm and fans are encouraged to come along early for a load of enjoyable activities, such as Beat the Kingsley, Face painting and even a Tombola so get yourself down for a bit of fun before the main kick off at 1pm!

🗣️Highlights and reaction post match
Glasgow City have had a good start to their season thus far, picking up 28 points from a possible 30.
Gaining several high scoring victories over the likes of Hamilton, Hibs, Dundee United, and Glasgow Women, Glasgow City currently sit in 2nd place in the SWPL1, only behind on goal difference, 3 places and 13 points above the Jags at the moment.
There are several club links between the squads, with the likes of Jordan McLintock, Taylor Fisher, and October POTM winner Cheryl McCulloch all former Glasgow City players and they’ll all be hoping to get one over on their former club this coming Sunday.
Another well-deserved win against Hamilton on Sunday showed another level to Brian Graham’s girls commitment and determination. There were plenty of positives that can only point out good signs for the jags as we look to improve our incredible form.
Another outstanding performance from Rachel Donaldson as she scored yet another fantastic goal and set up 2, earning herself a spot in the “5OTW”. Jordan McLintock also kept her spot as top scorer tucking her penalty as cool as you like. Abbie Ferguson again continues to make her impact during her loan spell from Celtic while Linzi Taylor bagged herself a brace to continue her good form.
Strong home followings from the Red and Yellow Army so far this season have really helped our girls, and hopefully more of the Thistle faithful come along to support their Jags this Sunday afternoon, particularly for this huge Glasgow derby, at Petershill for our Family Fun Day. The aim is for a record crowd so get along and support the girls.
Nearly a full squad again for Brian Graham leading into Sunday with only Taylor McGlashan out as she continues with her ongoing injury. Clare Docherty returns following her suspension which saw her miss the Hamilton match and she will be looking to rejoin her team mates hoping for a victory and another 3 points on the board.
