This Wednesday 2nd November, PTWFC take on Motherwell Women at Petershill for a 20:00 kick off.
Thistle come off the back of a 0-0 draw against Hibernian in the SWPL1 last weekend at Meadowbank in a hard fought and battling game. Brian Graham’s women deservedly took the point away from the capital as we look to bring the fight to Motherwell in our next league fixture.
Having had a number of girls out through injury or illness, it was something to be commended in what was a real squad effort, coming away with the result at Meadowbank in the heated affair.
A win for Brian Graham’s side in what is a game in hand would move the Jags up to 5th in the table.

Motherwell have had a decent start to their season thus far, picking up 8 points from a possible 24.
Gaining victories over Hibs and Glasgow Women, like ourselves, Motherwell currently lie in 9th place in the SWPL1, 3 places and a point below the Jags.
This is a game which was postponed a few weeks ago due to the national mourning period, but it would be a huge 3 points for either squad with Thistle coming into some great form.
There are several club links between the squads, with Khym Ramsay, Claire Adams and top scorer Jordan McLintock all signing from the Steelmen in the summer and they’ll all be hoping to get one over on their former club under the floodlights.
A hard-fought draw against Hibs on Sunday showed another level to Brian Graham’s girls work ethic. There were plenty of positives that can only point out good signs for The Jags as we look to improve our already impressive form.
With a greatly reduced squad with likes of fan favourite Cara Henderson and top scorer Jordan McLintock out last weekend, going away to a fierce atmosphere that surrounded the Meadowbank Stadium and grabbing a point.
Strong home followings from the Red and Yellow Army so far this season have really helped our girls, and hopefully more of the Thistle faithful come along to support their Jags this Wednesday night at Petershill under the floodlights.
A number of players missed Sunday’s draw with Hibernian, Regulars Linzi Taylor and Cara Henderson and Top scorer Jordan McLintock all missed out and all three face a race against time to be back for the visit of Motherwell
Brian Graham will be hoping he can call on the players, however Sunday’s performance showed the depth within the squad and the squad’s chacacter.
