Last month we auctioned off the match worn commemorative 1921 kits raising an incredible £4610 for Partick Thistle Women’s FC and our Former Players Association.
Now, we are delighted to announce that the game-issued commemorative 1971 kits, designed to pay tribute to our famous League Cup triumph, will be up for auction starting this Thursday, 26th May at 10am running through to 6th June at 12pm.
The classic red and yellow kits are sponsorless on the front with league branding on the shoulder and name and number on the back.
The majority of the shirts are signed by the 2021/22 player who wore them in our cinch Championship fixture against Dunfermline Athletic last October – you can check the lot descriptions to see which ones are autographed.
The starting price of each kit will be £50 and, just like our last auction, the funds raised will be going to the club with the money being split between Partick Thistle Women’s FC and our Former Players Association. Every bid will help the women’s team as they begin preparations for the 2022/23 campaign as well as contributing towards former players events over the course of the next 12 months.
The online Auction, run in conjunction with club partner, McTears Auctioneers, will be available to view on Thursday morning and will run until noon on Monday, 6th June.
Good luck!
