Everyone connected to Partick Thistle Football Club would like to offer the warmest wishes to former player, assistant manager and manager Gerry Collins as he faces some current health challenges.
Famed for his determination and commitment throughout all the roles he performed at the club, Gerry’s fighting spirit is second to none and will be counted on more than ever at present.
Gerry was in sparkling form at our Tennents’ Sixes reunion event earlier this year, with some hilarious storytelling in front of fans and former players. It was particularly apparent that night just how highly he is regarded by those players from the golden Lambie-Collins era in the early to mid 90s, who will no doubt join us in sending positive thoughts Gerry’s way.
Keep fighting Gerry – and we hope to welcome you back to Firhill very soon.
