Adapt Commercial Property PTWFC Player of the Month

Following a fantastic August to kick-off the 2023/24 season, September proved a more challenging month for PTWFC with away trips to two of last season’s top four to contend with as well as a couple of difficult home games which were both decided by the odd goal.

Now, as we head into October in 6th place, it’s time to decided who your Adapt Commercial Property Player of the Month is:

Demi Falconer

One of five players to have started every competitive game so far this season, the skipper’s influence has been as evident as ever for the Jags with her standout displays coming at the start of the month. She played a key role as Thistle were narrowly beaten by Rangers at Broadwood before then excelling once again against Motherwell, making a goal-denying tackle late on to secure the three points.

Imogen Longcake

Thistle’s number 27 started three of the team’s four games during September having scored in the last two fixtures of August. Returning to the first XI against Rangers, Longcake showed not only an attacking threat but also a terrific work ethic to race up and down the pitch to help with the team’s effort at both ends. She ended the month with an assist in the team’s defeat to Hearts in Edinburgh.

Lucy Sinclair

Brian Graham’s summer signing from Hamilton Accies has already cemented herself as a regular for the Jags following an impressive start to the new season which has seen her start every game. Operating in an attacking midfield role, Sinclair’s importance to the team is evidenced by the way she defends stubbornly, presses relentlessly and attacks threateningly whenever she is on the pitch.

Linzi Taylor

Making her first appearance of the season in the final game of August, Linzi Taylor’s return from injury was a welcome one for Thistle having been such an important part of the team for well over a season now. The number 15 was quickly back into the starting line-up as she slotted into central defence against Rangers and Motherwell, performing well in both contests and helping the team to a clean sheet against the latter.
