Partick Thistle WFC are delighted to announce the signing of Ailey Tebbett as the Club further strengthens in the goalkeeping department.
Ailey, who has only within the last month or so returned to full training following an ACL injury, has been in about at Petershill Park for several months now working with the clubs physios as her rehab continued.
Ailey, who has dual American/British Citizenship having graduated from the University of Florida, adds experience to the Thistle squad having played with Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee United as well as Sion Swifts in Northern Ireland.
Ailey said:
“I’ve been training with the club since the summer and really enjoyed my time here so it’s great to finally be back fit and able to sign. It’s been a long recovery from my injury.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the great goalkeepers we’ve got at the club and continue to push myself”
Said Partick Thistle WFC manager Brian Graham; “We’ve had Ailey in working with the medical department since the start of the season. She’s now fit and available to play so I’m delighted to add her to the goalkeeping group and she’ll really push Jeni and Abbie.
“She’s a very experienced goalkeeper in this league and knows it well so to now have two experienced goalkeepers and young Abbie learning from them is great for the club”
