Following discussions with our opponents Celtic, Partick Thistle can today inform supporters of arrangements for our William Hill Scottish Cup fourth round tie at The Energy Check Stadium At Firhill on Saturday, 18 January.
Partick Thistle supporters will be accommodated in the entirety of the Colin Weir Stand, which will include a dedicated singing section to the north end of the stand.
Celtic supporters will be accommodated in the Jackie Husband Stand and the John Lambie Stand.
These arrangements are based on the demand and sales of tickets for recent cup ties at Firhill between the two clubs and provides the best opportunity for a capacity crowd. Revenues from the game will help to support the manager’s January transfer budget and ultimately boost the first team squad for the second half of our league campaign.
This arrangement is for this game only and will not be the policy for any upcoming league games between the two clubs, as and when we are once again playing in the same tier.
Further details on ticket pricing and sales for this cup tie, which kicks off at 5.30pm on Saturday, 18 January and is live on Premier Sports, will be announced shortly.
