It is with immense pride that we are able to confirm the selection of not one, but two, Partick Thistle players in the Scottish Women’s Under 19 squad for two upcoming matches with Hungary later this month.
Our congratulations are extended to goalkeeper Ava Easdon and defender Jenna Ferguson on their inclusion in Michael McArdle’s squad for the two fixtures that will take place at Ainslie Park in Edinburgh on Friday September 22nd and Monday September 25th.
Their inclusion in the squad is, first and foremost, a reflection on both the talent and hard work demonstrated by both Ava and Jenna. Both players have stepped into a SWPL side this season and immediately looked as if they belong at this level.
We feel too that their inclusion is an endorsement of the coaching and development the players have been receiving under the charge of Brian Graham and his assistant Ross Stormonth.
This is a proud moment for all associated with Partick Thistle WFC and our heartiest of congratulations are extended to Ava and Jenna.
