The transfer window may have shut but it hasn’t stopped the club from welcoming another new face to the team – albeit in an off the pitch role – as Beth Adamson joins the club in the newly created role of supporter engagement officer.
Although Beth will also be the club’s new supporter liaison officer her main focus is on increasing supporter numbers through effective community and fan engagement.
As well as being responsible for developing relationships with local community groups, schools charities and football teams Beth is in charge of developing effective strategies and initiatives to increase fan engagement and ultimately get more supporters through the turnstiles on a matchday.
Beth is already well versed in all things Thistle as she has been heavily involved in the Thistle Weir ladies team for a number of seasons now.
With a week under her belt PTTV caught up with Beth to ask her more about her role and how she was settling in.
