April 2024 was a history-making month for Partick Thistle captain Brian Graham as he was selected in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year for a third consecutive season and nominated for the Championship Player of the Year.
On top of that, his coaching efforts were recognised with a nomination for the SWPL Manager of the Year and now there’s one more thing to add to that quite incredible list of accomplishments – the cinch Championship Player of the Month award.
His second time getting his hands on this particular prize having won it in April 2019 while at Ross County, Brian scored three of Thistle’s five goals last month as the team went unbeaten over four games.
His double against Airdrieonians in a 4-0 win meant he’s now scored against every opposition team in the division and it also made his 2023/24 campaign the highest scoring individual season for a Jag in the 21st century.
Going even further, he joined an exclusive club of just 11 players to have scored 20 or more league goals in a single season for Thistle, another feather in the cap of a modern-day Maryhill hero.
