Partick Thistle WFC are delighted to announce that striker Carla Boyce will be continuing her Partick Thistle career into the 2024-2025 season.
Carla joined Thistle from Motherwell in January of last season and was a big hit in her first few months as a Partick Thistle player.
Previously with Glasgow City, where she sampled Champions League football, Spartans (on loan), Rangers and Hibernian, Carla bagged five goals in her first 18 appearances as a Partick Thistle player, three of them post-split. With Carla having netted six times for Motherwell prior to her move to Petershill Park that meant that she finished last season with an impressive 11 goals to her name.
That she sees her goalscoring future with Partick Thistle is a major boost ahead of the new season.
Carla said: “I’ve loved my time here so far so can’t wait for my first full season as a Thistle player.
“I definitely made the right decision in joining the club in January. It’s such a great club to play for and I was glad to make an impact over the last part of the season.
“I’m looking forward to getting back in with the girls now and seeing what we can achieve next season”
Said Brian Graham; “It was a big signing when we managed to bring Carla to the club in January.
She showed in the second half of the season exactly why we wanted to make her a Partick Thistle player.
“I’m delighted that she has enjoyed her time here so much so far that she’s committed again for next season. With a full pre-season with the club I think Carla will be a big player again next season”
