Partick Thistle can today confirm that Charlie Reilly will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the month.
The 19-year-old midfielder came to Firhill after leaving Hamilton Accies last summer and went on to make three appearances in Thistle colours over the course of the campaign, appearing as a substitute against Clyde and Greenock Morton before starting on the final day of the season away at Montrose.
Charlie leaves with the thanks of everyone at Partick Thistle and with our best wishes for the future.
Thistle manager, Ian McCall said:
“We give a big thanks to Charlie for his efforts over the course of the season. He’s a talented player who unfortunately didn’t get as many opportunities to play as we would have liked but he’s still very young and he’s got the ability to go on and have a good career so we wish him the best of luck.”
