Partick Thistle Women’s FC is thrilled to announce that defender Cheryl McCulloch will return to the club for the 2021/22 season.
The former Glasgow City and Celtic player joined us back in May ahead of the SWPL 2’s return and started all eight of our fixtures during the run-in.
McCulloch introduced herself as a Jag with a debut goal in a 3-1 win over Boroughmuir Thistle at Lochburn. She ended the season with an impressive four goals to her name.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said:”“We’re absolutely delighted to get Cheryl back for the new season. She came in last season and done exceptionally well with us and really showed her quality during the short spell she was with us. She has been one of our top targets during the summer so it’s great to finally get her tied down and in the squad as we prepare for the challenges of SWPL1”
