Chief Executive’s Programmes Notes v Dunfermline Athletic – 30th September 2023

To communicate and inform as many Thistle supporters as possible programme notes will be reproduced in full on ptfc.co.uk following a home fixture where a programme is produced.

Below are Chief Executive Chris Ross’ notes from Saturday’s match programme against Dunfermline Athletic.

Welcome to the Wyre Stadium at Firhill for our cinch Championship match against Dunfermline Athletic – I offer a warm welcome to Maryhill to all our visitors from Fife.

On the pitch we come into this match with the aim of getting back to winning ways while off the pitch this weekend at Partick Thistle is all about Her Game Too celebrations, tackling sexism and championing women in sport.

This weekend’s theme includes a Her Game Too presence this afternoon in the Aitken Suite before and after the match with live music, appearances from the men’s and women’s team players, sweets, face painting and freebies.

Then on Sunday the celebrations continue with Partick Thistle Women taking on Spartans at Petershill in the Sky Sports Cup, with face painting and fun activities for the kids before the match.

Across both fixtures we have collections arranged to support and raise vital funds for Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis thanks to the help of Jags for Good.

Huge thanks have to go to Kirstin Fraser and Heather Holloway as our HGT representatives for organising this weekend’s celebrations.

Also this afternoon, we have more than 120 guests with us enjoying our first-class matchday hospitality in the Alan Rough Lounge of the Jackie Husband Stand.

With spaces still available across our remaining cinch Championship home matches contact the Club today if you are interested in joining us in hospitality across the remainder of the season. You can do so by emailing

If you have not already done so this season, a reminder that you can visit our family-friendly Aitken Suite bar and the Greaves Sports Club Shop on Firhill Road before the match, the bar is also open after the game.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the club already this season and we hope you enjoy the game.

Best wishes,

Chris Ross.
