With a number of Alan Archibald’s squad already tied down, we haven’t had too many contract extensions to report in recent months. This morning, however, we are pleased to announce that another Jag has committed to the Thistle cause.
Signing a new two year contract is versatile Jag, Christie Elliott, who has tied himself to Firhill until the summer of 2019. The popular Geordie joined Thistle in 2011 and the expiry of his current deal will take him to eight years’ service in the red and yellow of the club.
Christie has made 167 appearances for the Jags, featuring 29 times already this campaign, establishing himself as one of the first names in Alan Archibald’s squad.
All at Firhill are delighted that Christie has committed himself to the club for another two seasons and we look forward to more strong performances from him in a red and yellow jersey.
