Partick Thistle WFC is thrilled to announce that Claire Adams has committed to return to the club for the 2024/25 campaign.
This new season will be Claire’s third for Partick Thistle having signed for Brian Graham’s side from Motherwell in the summer of 2022.
In her debut season Adams made 24 appearances in all competitions, playing an important role in the middle of the park during Thistle surge towards securing a top six finish.
Despite a handful of injury issues this past season Claire was able to play more football than the previous campaign, featuring 27 times including 12 starts as the team once again earned a place in the top half of the SWPL table.
Adams said: “It was easy to sign again for next season. It’s fantastic to be involved in everything the club is doing and I’ve loved playing my part.
I’m looking forward to getting back in for pre-season already and working hard to push the club forward even more”
Brian Graham said: “Claire is so good technically and so calm and composed on the ball. She has been really unlucky with injuries in that every time she gets a run in the team she got injured last season.
I’m looking forward to having her back fit and ready to go for pre-season”.
