Partick Thistle can confirm that Matchday Operations Manager Gus Watson and Supporters Liaison Officer Norman Wilson will attend the debrief meeting hosted by Greenock Morton next week, following the match between the clubs on Saturday, 29th March.
These meetings, typically involving only the home club’s safety and security representatives, are a standard part of post-match procedures. We are grateful to Greenock Morton and their partners at Cappielow Park supported by Dalrada Technology UK for agreeing to our attendance.
Gus and Norman’s presence will allow for constructive dialogue regarding the significant number of complaints we received about access to the Main Stand. Our aim is to work collaboratively to understand what happened and to identify steps that can improve the matchday experience for our travelling support in the future.
