Yesterday evening at around 17:00, the Club became aware of issues with the Club website being unresponsive and unavailable for visitors. We quickly contacted our web developers to make them aware of the issues and to try to bring the Club website back online as quickly as possible ahead of our game with Fraserburgh.
The outage we experienced was a nationwide problem caused by the heatwave weather that the UK have been experiencing over the last couple of days. Our website is one of a number across the UK that are linked with Google and went offline due to server outage at one of Google’s data centres in London. The website was restored to full operational use around 11:30 this morning.
We apologise for any inconvenience or disruption caused to supporters who could not access our website last night, and were unable to tune in to our JagZone audio commentary for last night’s match. Our ticketing and streaming platforms were unaffected by this outage and provided their usual matchday services.
We hope that the explanation provided above allows supporters to understand the issues that affected our Club website last night and that they were outwith the control of the Club. The Club will review what measures it can take to ensure outages like the one experienced last night aren’t experienced again.
