This month’s Community Champion, presented by McDonalds Maryhill, is one of the co-founders of a group who are helping the most vulnerable families in our local area.
Tracy Pender is one of the key contributors to the Glasgow Baby Food Bank who have been working since 2019 to provide a variety of provisions to families who need them most.
This includes things like nappies, baby food, and more with the Baby Food Bank working alongside healthcare professionals and support workers to maximise the potential of their hard work.
Tracy has been present at recent Thistle games, working with Jags For Good on donation drives as well as the Tumble A Teddy initiative last month.
As part of a team of volunteers, Tracy gives up her time to improve the lives of people in the Maryhill community which is why we’re delighted to be welcoming her to Firhill today as our McDonalds Maryhill Community Champion.
