Partick Thistle Women’s FC is thrilled to announce that experienced defender Danica Dalziel has signed up for the 2021/22 season.
The ex-Glasgow City and Celtic player is returning to football to join the PTWFC project after a couple of years away from the game.
Possibly the highlight of Danica’s impressive career in Scottish women’s football came in 2012 when she scored the winning goal in the Scottish Cup final as Glasgow City completed a domestic treble.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said:
“Danica is a player with a lot of experience at the top level. She has played with some top clubs and has caps for Scotland at youth level. She will bring us something different in the defensive area and be someone the younger players can learn from.”
