Partick Thistle Women’s FC is thrilled to announce that Demi Falconer has agreed a deal to stay at the club for the 2022/23 season.
Demi, who serves as the club’s vice-captain, has been the team’s beating heart since joining PTWFC ahead of the 2020 season with her defensive commitment and inspiring leadership key to everything the side does.
This season has been a special one for the defender as she made it to an incredible 100 consecutive games without missing a minute across her time with Thistle and Stirling University.
Overall, she’s featured 32 times this term, winning the PTWFC September Player of the Month award and scoring once – our second in a 4-2 win over Hearts at The Oriam in February.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said:“Demi is an absolute joy to work with and I’m delighted to have her back next season. She’s a leader on the park and in the dressing room and you saw when she reached her 100 consecutive appearances how much she means to everyone at the club.
“She never misses a training session and is consistent week in week out and will again be a massive part of our team next season”
Demi Falconer said:“I’m really happy to agree a deal to come back next season. It’s been a great season for the club and me personally.
“Ever since I joined two years ago, the club has grown massively and I’m excited to be here to continue that rise”
