All at Partick Thistle were deeply saddened to hear of the recent untimely passing of Denise Murray, a lifelong supporter of the club.
Denise had been a season ticket holder for many years at Firhill and was a very well known face around Firhill. Catching the Thistle bug from her dad, Duncan Murray, who runs the city centre supporters’ bus, Denise attended games regularly with her dad and her sister, Janis and ocasionally mum Irene.
Denise travelled over land and sea following Thistle at home and away religiously extending her enthusiasm for everything red and yellow to her three children, Kirsty Heather and Cameron.
All our thoughts and condolences are with Denise’s friends and family at this difficult time. Denise will be sorely missed by all who shared some great Partick Thistle memories in her company.
Denise’s funeral will be Monday 24th April at Daldowie 12:45 then return to Firhill. Family flowers only.
