Sadly Eamon Fitzgerald, a season ticket holder and a long time Jags fan passed away recently. Eamon, for away games, travelled with friends on the North West Supporters bus and until recently sat in the Jackie Husband stand. When he became a wheelchair user he transferred to the Disability Supporters Section.
Eamon will be known by many fans as a former lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University and for 25 years he was the hard working Labour Councillor for Broomhill on Glasgow City Council.
Eamon will be sadly missed by his family and friends who wish to acknowledge the support of the organisers of the North West Supporters Bus, Joe the driver and Dougie McInnes Thistles’ Disability Access Officer. Their support meant Eamon could watch his beloved Jags as often as possible.
