Elaine Hamilton

The Club can confirm that Elaine Hamilton has resigned from her position as Director. She has been an integral part of the club’s leadership team over the past 12 months.

Elaine has played a pivotal role in reimagining matchday hospitality and developing the club’s commercial operations, as well as delivering the ongoing refurbishment of key indoor spaces at the stadium. Her leadership has been instrumental in raising standards across the club and professionalising the matchday experience.

Upon confirming her decision, Elaine said: “It’s been a privilege to serve with, and on the board for Partick Thistle over the past year. Were it not for the significantly increased demands of my own business, I would have no hesitation in remaining at a time when it feels like we are moving in the right direction, working hard to integrate the values and vision our supporters want to see for their club.

“The board are absolutely unified in their commitment to financial stability, supporter engagement and matchday experience, and to making a positive difference in their community – equally importantly of course to ensuring ongoing investment and development in football operations across the Men’s, Women’s and Academy pillars. As you would expect with the Jags, I’ve also met some wonderful people who work extremely hard for the good of the club and I appreciate all the support they have given me.”

Director Richard Beastall commented on the resignation: “We’re all grateful to Elaine for her commitment and contributions to the club over her time with us. While we’re saddened to see her go, we respect her decision and wish her all the best in her future endeavours. Her legacy will continue to be seen in the professional standards she has set and the influence she has had commercially. We’re also very pleased that she will continue to be a friend of the club and point potential partners in our direction where possible!”

Elaine’s final game (in an official capacity) at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill will be on August 31st when we take on Queen’s Park.
