Before the Firhill pitch renovation begins, we’ll be hosting a small number of Thistle Weir Youth Academy matches on the hallowed turf with free entry for all supporters who want to come along and catch a glimpse of the Jags of the future!
It will begin this Friday night as our under 18s face St. Johnstone with a 5pm kick-off.
There will then be three games on Saturday, all against Greenock Morton, starting with our under 13s who will kick-off at 9am in a 9-a-side game.
Following that, we’ll have our under 15s playing at 11am before our under 16s round off the day of football at Firhill with a 1pm kick-off.
Only the Jackie Husband Stand will be open to fans for the games with our food kiosks offering a variety of refreshments.
Admission is free for all the matches however any supporters attending are encouraged to make a donation to Jags For Good if they can afford to.
Jags For Good will be in the Jackie Husband Stand from 12noon selling t-shirts as well as doing some bucket collections to enable donations for their season ticket fundraiser for local charities.
