With new manager David Elliot now in post for a number of weeks the restructuring of the squad ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season is underway.
We can therefore confirm that Shona Cowan, Emma Craig, Georgia Gray and Kodie Hay have now left the Club.
Shona Cowan initially joined Thistle on loan from Hearts in October 2023 before joining permanently during the summer of 2024. Across her two seasons with Thistle Shona made a total of 37 appearances.
Emma Craig started her second spell as a Partick Thistle player when she was signed from Queen’s Park in the January transfer window last season. Injury limited her ability to make an impact during her second stint as a Jag.
Georgia Gray meantime was a summer of 2024 signing from Rangers. The Scotland under 19 cap made a total of 28 appearances in her one season as a Partick Thistle player.
A long time target of previous manager Brian Graham, Kodie Hay made the switch to Partick Thistle in season 2023-2024 having most recently been with Motherwell.
Last season Kodie suffered an injury that kept her out of the squad for much of the first half of the season before returning to the side in the closing months of the season. Across her time at Petershill Park the wide midfielder made 52 appearances as a Partick Thistle player.
All four players leave the Club with our sincere thanks and the very best wishes for the future.
A further more in depth squad update will follow in due course.
