Fans returning to the Wyre Stadium at Firhill this Saturday will notice a different outlook behind the goals at the city end.
This is all thanks to the work of Alexander Binnie aka Glesga Garden Guy and his team of staff, who recently spent four days working on site.

The works, part of a contra-sponsorship agreement at no cost to the club, involved the clearing of large quantities of tree cuttings, overgrown bushes, general rubbish and a few footballs too!
The work was carried out during the week of low temperatures earlier this month but Alec and his team worked round the clock all week with the end result a much tidier and pleasing-on-the-eye backdrop to that end of the stadium.
These works are just one small but very important part of an ongoing stadium and facilities improvement programme of works scheduled throughout 2025.
Our thanks to Alec and the team at Glesga Garden Guy who we hope to welcome to a game soon – you can find out more about Alec’s comprehensive garden and landscaping services business here: Landscaping | Glasgow | Glesga Garden Guy
