Thistle returned to competitive action in October for the first time since March – however club partner Glasgow Taxis had no such break, operating 24/7 throughout the pandemic.
Glasgow Taxis, the biggest taxi company in Scotland, became an official partner of the club in November of last year, since when the world has changed in a way nobody could have imagined.
With rules and regulations in place to help protect the health of the nation, Glasgow Taxis have been promoting a “Separated, Sanitised, Safe” campaign to raise awareness of the advantages of travelling by black cab. With all Glasgow Taxis fitted with a partition between driver and passenger/s, they remain one of the safest, if not the safest, modes of public transport.
Since the season started we have also seen our very own Thistle-branded taxi delivering matchday packs and prizes to sponsors and competition winners, which has gone down a storm with all recipients so far.
