Partick Thistle can today confirm that Thistle Weir Youth Academy graduate Gospel Ocholi is joining Benburb on a season-long loan deal, subject to Scottish FA clearance.
The 18-year-old has been training with the first team throughout 2021 and featured multiple times for Ian McCall’s side during pre-season having signed a two-year deal as a modern apprentice in May. His standout moment during those pre-season friendlies was his winning goal against East Kilbride at K-Park in a 2-1 triumph.
Gospel eventually made his competitive debut for the club in our 2-0 win over Dumbarton at Firhill last month and he now heads to West of Scotland Football League side Benburb for more first team experience.
We wish Gospel the best of luck for the duration of his loan spell.
