Partick Thistle FC can today announce that Thistle Weir Youth Academy graduate Gospel Ocholi is joining Dalbeattie Star on loan until January, subject to Scottish FA clearance.
The 19-year-old, who signed a two-year modern apprenticeship in 2021, previously spent time on loan with Benburb and now heads to Islecroft Park to gain experience in the Lowland League.
Ocholi has been training with Ian McCall’s first team squad for over a year now and made his first team debut in a Premier Sports Cup tie against Dumbarton last season after scoring the winner in a friendly against East Kilbride earlier that month.
