Back in March, as we took on Raith Rovers at home, we worked with Her Game Too Partick Thistle to mark International Women’s Week and we’re delighted to be working with them again on Saturday as part of the club’s Her Game Too weekend.
The dedicated weekend, which includes home fixtures for both the men’s and women’s teams, is intended to celebrate the women and girls who are such a massive part of our club as it is and will be looking into the future.
The Aitken Suite will serve as the hub of activity on Saturday with plenty going on before and after the game including face painting, live music, free goodies, the PlayerZone and more!
You will also be able to get a chat with the Her Game Too Partick Thistle team who would be delighted to discuss their ongoing work and listen to any ideas you might have.
Our friends at Jags For Good will be lending a hand as well, collecting donations for Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis. This is ahead of the club’s participation in the ‘Fair Play Project’, a new initiative designed to offer prevention, training and skill-building activities related to gender-based violence with people in sports. Please give kindly if you are able to.
The weekend continues on Sunday at Petershill Park as PTWFC take on Spartans in the Sky Sports Cup and the Her Game Too Partick Thistle representatives will be in attendance once again.
If you have any questions about the weekend or the movement overall, feel free to contact .
