All at Partick Thistle were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Hugh Gray, a lifelong supporter of the Club.
The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with Hugh’s family and friends at this sad time.
Hugh was born and brought up in Alford St, Springburn, and moved to Bathgate in 1967.
He followed The Jags home & away through thin and thin from the 1940s until Xmas 2019 when he had to go into a Nursing Home.
He had been a Season Ticket holder in the Main Stand, Golden Thistle, Shed and latterly the Jackie Husband.
I’m sure there will be many Jags fans who will remember seeing him at the games, especially away from home “Away at Stranraer on a cold Tuesday night…..”
He passed away peacefully on Friday morning 5th January.
