All at Partick Thistle FC were deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Jags fan Ian Stewart due to an accident at home just after Christmas 2023.
Ian was born in 1948 and started supporting Thistle in the late 50s. As with many Thistle fans of this era, the 1971 Scottish League Cup Final was the highlight of his time following the Jags.
Despite living in Northamptonshire for the last 40 years, he never lost his love for Thistle, travelling to attend many games over the years.
Ian was a larger-than-life character and will be sadly missed by all who knew him over the years.

Rest in peace, Ian Stewart – once a Jag, always a Jag.
