Partick Thistle Women are delighted to announce the return of attacker Imogen Longcake to the club, subject to SFA and international clearance.

A real fans’ favourite, Imogen spent two-and-a-half years at Petershill Park, making 82 appearances and scoring 11 goals. She moved to Bolton Wanderers in the summer but now returns home, bringing her electric pace back to Gary Holt’s side.
Imogen has been training with the club since October following her departure from Bolton, and with the registration window reopening in January, she will soon be able to pull on the Red and Yellow once again.
Longcake will once again wear the number 27 shirt, and the club looks forward to welcoming Imogen and her family back to Petershill Park.
Speaking on her return, Imogen said:
“I’m really happy to be a Thistle player again. I was really sad to leave in the summer — my family and I made a lot of friends and amazing memories here, it’s a really special place so it was hard to leave — but I wanted to experience playing back in England.
“When it didn’t work out at Bolton, there was only one place I wanted to be. It’s been great being back around everyone for the last few months, but really frustrating not being able to get out there and help the girls, so I can’t wait to be back on the pitch in front of the fans again.”

Manager Gary Holt added:
“Imogen has really impressed in training since I came in, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about her time at the club before I arrived.
“She’s continued to travel from Carlisle to train with the squad, which shows real commitment. It will be great for her to finally reap the rewards of that hard work by being able to play on Sundays.
“I’m looking forward to adding her to the matchday squad in the new year, and she’ll hopefully be the first of a few new signings as we move into 2026.”
