It is with enormous delight that Partick Thistle WFC can confirm that Imogen Longcake has signalled her commitment to Partick Thistle for season 2024-2025.
Imogen, previously with Newcastle and Middlesbrough as well as a spell in the USA at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, first arrived at Petershill Park in January 2023 and in her time with the Club she has now made 51 appearances, across which she has scored ten times.
In securing the services of Imogen, who travels from Carlisle to Glasgow for training and matches, Brian Graham will have at his disposal for the new season of player of real pace and talent.
Imogen said: “It was an easy decision to sign again for next season. I’ve loved being here and I feel like I’m learning and improving all the time. Brian and Ross have been brilliant in helping me with my game and I feel like I can only continue to become a better player here.
I was really happy with how I done last season with 8 goals so hopefully I can improve on that next season”
Said manager Brian Graham; “Imogen brings something totally different to the team. Her pace and directness causes defences real problems and she is a constant threat for us, you saw that last season where she ended the season our second top scorer with lots of different goals too.
I still think she can get even better which is the scary thing and she’s always looking to improve too.
“She still travels from Carlisle for training and games which shows just how committed she is to play for this club”
