Partick Thistle can today confirm the signing of Alex Jakubiak from Dundee on loan until the end of the season, subject to Scottish FA clearance.
Zak Rudden will join Dundee on loan for the rest of the campaign with immediate effect.
Jakubiak joins us from the Dens Park side having also previously played with St. Mirren and Falkirk in Scottish football.
The 25-year-old Englishman made his way through the academy set-up at Watford, going out on loan a number of times before eventually making the permanent switch to Dundee in 2020.
Thistle boss Ian McCall said:
“We’ve been looking to strengthen our options up front this window and we’re pleased to be able to bring Alex in to do that. He’s another player like Robbie Crawford who’s been at a Premiership club during the first part of the season and hasn’t had as much game time as he would have liked.
“That means he should come here with plenty of hunger to get on the pitch and to contribute to the team as we head into what is going to be a very busy period for the team.”
Alex will wear number 10 for the rest of the 2021/22 season.
