All at Partick Thistle were shocked to learn that former Jag Jim Duffy had been admitted to hospital for treatment following a heart attack.
The popular central defender joined John Lambie’s Thistle in 1990 and spent two years as a Jag. Jim captained the team to promotion to the Premier Division in 1992 with a promotion clinching match against Forfar Athletic sparking fondly remembered celebrations for the Club. Since leaving the Club as a player, Jim has been a regular and warmly welcomed guest to Firhill performing various media duties as well as occupying the opposition dugout on occasion.
All within the Thistle family wish Jim the very best of health as he looks to make a full recovery.
