Partick Thistle Women’s FC are excited to announce that forward Jordan McLintock has joined the club ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 campaign.
A former Scotland youth international, McLintock has spent the last couple of seasons with fellow SWPL 1 side Motherwell though the season just gone was one heavily impacted by injuries.
Prior to that, she spent time at Glasgow City and was a league winner with the 15-time SWPL champions, scoring her first goal for them in August 2018.
Also previously on the books of Rangers and Hamilton as a teenager, Jordan now comes to Petershill Park to bolster Brian Graham’s attacking options as we head into a new SWPL 1 term.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said:
“It’s brilliant that Jordan has decided to sign with us. She’s a player we’ve come up against and who we had on trial here for a short time previously so we know what we’re getting with her.
She’s got terrific technical ability and can play in a couple of different positions. On top of that, she’s already got a huge amount of experience playing in SWPL 1 with Glasgow City and more recently Motherwell.
“Last season was quite a frustrating one for her because of injuries so she comes here with a desire to play and we’ve seen that already with the way she’s been training. Jordan will be a great addition to our talented group of attackers.”
Jordan McLintock said:
“I’m very happy to be here to work with Brian, Stewart and Doc. Looking from the outside last season, it seemed like a really great club and team to be a part of so I’m excited for the new season.
Last season was tough for me because of injuries so I’m just looking to get back to playing consistently first and foremost but I also want to be playing my part.
“I love attacking, trying to make things happen with the ball at my feet and hopefully I can get a few goals too.”
